Strategy Apprentice

Position Summary

The Research and Strategy Apprentice will play a key role in all agency and client research projects and help drive client strategy in the short-term as well as long-term. The role is simple: learn how to gather, define, and clarify the insights that drive creative solutions and make a difference in our client’s business. Please note, this position is part-time.

Responsibilities include

· Utilize Santy research tools to uncover insights or support strategies

· Contribute to the creation and execution agency research activities

· Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace

· Help discover strategic insights for use in a creative brief, presentation or media plan

· Develop an understanding of the client’s business environment and strategy

· Stay on top of emerging behaviors, technologies, and companies that are changing our clients’ businesses

· Suggest appropriate frameworks, tools and approaches to use in solving client problems

· Contribute to new business development through market research

· Assist in creation and publishing of agency content


· Bachelor’s Degree

· Passion for the advertising industry and desire to learn

· Inquisitive, curious nature

· Must love research

· Basic understanding of how consumers use Social Media, Digital Media (Display, Mobile, Paid Search), Traditional (TV, Radio, Direct Mail and Out Of Home)

· Working knowledge of common CMS platforms preferred

· Writing and presentation skills

· 1-2 years experience in a related field is a bonus
